The Fotos are currently one of best live-bands in Germany. The four young men from Hamburg and Cologne are energetic, wild and have more heart than attitude. In their own words: People generally like to freeze their memories in the form of photographs, hence the name of the band. They have performed extensively not only in Germany but also toured in over 15 countries.

Works by Sujit Karmakar Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010. noon to  7 p.m. Ahuja Museum for Arts 26 Lee Road, Ground Floor , (at Elgin Road, Lee Road Crossing) Sujit Karmakar's works display stark realism on first impression and once the initial impact loosens its hold, one cannot help but notice his well-finished craft. The artist favours large canvases, which strengthens emotions in the compositions. His works portray struggle of the common man that he is familiar with. He often chooses children as his subject, detailing larger bromide prints with his acrylic-on-canvas work.
