Monday, November 01, 2010 9 p.m. Someplace Else, The Park, 17 Park Street Performance by Orient Express, led by Monojit Dutta, the first and only Latin Jazz band in the Indian subcontinent. The band is the only authentic Latin band with Congas bongos, Timbales Guido Clave and the whole battery of Latin percussion. The music they play ranges from original compositions to Latin and jazz standards, contemporary jazz to jazz rock. |
