Ulysses A Tale of Journeys
Saturday, October 02, 2010 6:30 p.m. Weavers Studio Centre for the Arts94 , Ballygunge Place In Tennyson’s poem, Ulysses of Ithaca is an old voyager bound in the body of a king or perhaps he is the poet Cavafy, who has always kept Ithaca in his mind. There is a space where they meet and tell stories of voyages. It is also a story of the performer’s craft - a journey of theatre, based on texts by Tennyson, Cavafy, Temsula Ao, and others, as communion, as healing, a space of meeting where we come together.
