Rupees 500cr for cable TV tech upgrade
The cable TV industry expects Rupees 500 crore investment in technology and infrastructure upgradation in Kolkata over the next one year to comply with the March 31, 2012, deadline of shifting from analog to digital technology as announced by information & broadcasting (I&B) ministry.
SSKM junior doctors threaten to strike work
Junior doctors in SSKM hospital agitated in front of the medical superintendent's office for failing to act against a senior doctor who had allegedly molested a doctor of the hospital a few days ago.
